‘Wildlife in Winter’ Virtual Sleepover, November 2020

We were awarded a further grant for printing and postage of another mailshot to all our members in November.  We used the opportunity to host our first Virtual Sleepover.

As well as activities to do at home, our members were invited to join some sessions on Zoom.  The Rainbows enjoyed games and a bedtime story, then the Brownies played a game before hearing about the planned re-introduction of Beavers to Wales. The Guides and Rangers had a quiz before a virtual campfire sing-a-long.

Many members made a den in their own homes for the sleepover.  For our closing event on Sunday, we were joined on Zoom by Bev Martin, Chief Commissioner of Girlguiding Cymru.

One of our leaders turned up at Anglesey Guide Centre for the sleepover by mistake.  Here is what she got up to when she was there:

Covid-19

Ni ellir cynnal unrhyw gyfarfodydd wyneb yn wyneb ar hyn o bryd. Byddant ond yn dechrau eto pan fydd Girlguiding yn caniatáu hynny yn unol â chanllawiau’r Llywodraeth, ac ar ôl i asesiadau risg gael eu cwblhau ar adeiladau ac unedau.

Fodd bynnag, mae Girlguiding wedi parhau i fod yn weithgar mewn ffyrdd newydd a dychmygus dros y flwyddyn ddiwethaf. Mae llawer o arweinwyr wedi bod yn anfon gweithgareddau trwy'r post neu e-bost er mwyn i ferched eu gwneud gartref, ac mae rhai o'n hunedau'n cyfarfod ar-lein. Mae 'Anturiaethau yn y Cartref' ar gael am ddim i bawb ar wefan Girlguiding UK.

Yma ar Ynys Môn, fe wnaethom ni gynnal Parti Pyjamas Rhithiol ym mis Tachwedd 2020 ac yn ddiweddar, lansiwyd Uned Geidiaid a Rangers (Rhithiol) Ynys Môn sy'n cwrdd ar-lein. Rhagor o wybodaeth ar ein tudalen Newyddion.
